Your Unused Items Can Help Another Canadian Family
Every week, Canadians throw away usable items that could still make a difference.
At DonateYourStuff.ca, we give those items a second life — turning them into affordable essentials, local jobs, and direct financial help through our Family Relief Fund — all while protecting our environment by keeping reusable goods out of landfills.
We accept gently used, working, and clean items that can be reused or distributed through our Thrift Society network.
Why Condition Matters
We want every donation to truly help someone — not create waste. That’s why we only accept items that are in good, clean, usable condition.
- Items must be fully functional, clean, and free of stains, damage, or heavy wear.
- Clothing should be washed and ready to wear.
- Electronics and small appliances must work properly, with no missing parts or cords.
- Household goods should be complete, safe, and ready to use.
We reserve the right to decline items at pickup if they don’t meet our quality standards. Our goal is simple — to ensure every item collected can be reused, rehomed, or used to directly support Canadian families through the Family Relief Fund, not end up as waste.
