Your Unused Items Can Help Another Canadian Family
Every week, usable items are thrown away even though they still have the potential to make a real difference.
DonateYourStuff.ca is the official donation pickup arm of Thrift Society, a Canadian social initiative built to keep good items in circulation and turn everyday donations into lasting community impact.
Through Thrift Society, donated items help support Canadian jobs, strengthen partnerships with frontline organizations, contribute to the Family Relief Program, and help expand Thrift Society into more communities.
We accept gently used, clean, complete, and working items that are suitable for reuse or sharing through our growing network of community partners and initiatives.
Why Condition Matters
We want every donation to truly help someone and not create waste. That’s why we only accept items that are in good, clean, usable condition.
- Items must be fully functional, clean, and free of stains, damage, or heavy wear.
- Clothing should be washed and ready to wear.
- Electronics and small appliances must work properly, with no missing parts or cords.
- Household goods should be complete, safe, and ready to use.
We reserve the right to decline items at pickup if they don’t meet our quality standards. Our goal is simple: to ensure the quality items we collect can remain in circulation through reuse, resale, community partnerships, or other responsible next uses.
