DonateYourStuff.ca provides free scheduled donation pickup for qualifying baby and toddler items throughout Toronto.
Donation method: Free scheduled pickup.
Accepts: Qualifying strollers, baby gates, portable play yards, carriers, bouncers, swings, activity centres, changing pads, diaper bags, baby clothing, baby shoes, toys, nursery organizers and other approved baby and toddler items.
Locations and hours:
- Toronto: Pickup is available throughout Toronto rather than through a public drop-off location. Pickup dates and arrival windows are arranged for qualifying requests.
Important details: Baby equipment must be clean, complete, fully functional, free from recalls and include the safety parts required for normal use. Clothing and other fabric items must be freshly washed, completely dry and ready to be used again.
DonateYourStuff.ca does not accept car seats, booster seats, cribs, crib mattresses, bassinets, bedside sleepers, high chairs, baby walkers with enclosed seats or recalled baby products.
Pickup is intended for donations large enough to reasonably justify sending a vehicle. Several bags or boxes, multiple qualifying pieces of baby gear, a nursery cleanout or baby items combined with other accepted categories are more likely to qualify.

Jessie’s operates a Swap Shop stocked with donated items for young parents and their children.

Pregnancy Care Centre Toronto provides practical support to parents and families through several locations across Toronto.
Donation method: Drop-off by appointment.
Accepts: New or gently used baby clothing from newborn through 18 months, diapers from newborn through size 4, and baby wipes. Its current donation page identifies newborn diapers and baby clothing sizes 0 to 3 months as particularly needed.

#5 Abiona Centre
Abiona Centre is a Toronto option for new baby and children’s supplies rather than used baby gear.
Donation method: Arranged drop-off.
Accepts: Current baby and children’s needs include formula, diaper rash cream, diapers and pull-ups in specified sizes, baby wipes, hygiene products, new children’s winter boots, new baby winter clothing and new educational toys and games.

Red Door Family Shelter accepts selected new baby essentials according to its current needs.
Donation method: Arranged drop-off.
Accepts: Current needs include baby formula, baby wipes and selected diaper and pull-up sizes. Red Door generally requires these items to be new and unopened.

How to Choose Where to Donate Baby Items
You do not need to compare every organization again after reading the directory above. The main decision comes down to what you have, whether it is new or used, how much you are donating and whether pickup or drop-off works better.
Pickup or Drop-Off?
If you have several bags or boxes, multiple qualifying pieces of baby gear or baby items combined with other accepted donations, scheduled pickup may be easier than transporting everything yourself.
If you only have a small quantity or a specific type of baby supply, a specialized drop-off program may be more practical.
Used Items or New Supplies?
Separate reusable baby gear, clothing and toys from new diapers, formula, wipes and other unopened supplies.

Can I donate a used breast pump?
Sometimes.
Whether a breast pump is suitable for reuse depends on the pump design and the receiving organization’s rules. Some pumps are intended for a single user, while others use a closed system that separates milk from the pump mechanism.
Check the manufacturer’s instructions before offering a used pump, and expect personal-use parts such as tubing, breast shields or collection containers to require replacement.
Can I donate cloth diapers?
Some donation programs accept reusable cloth diapers and others do not.
They should be thoroughly washed, completely dry and free from mould, persistent odours, badly damaged elastic or waterproof layers that no longer work.
Keep removable inserts and fastening pieces together.
Can I donate a baby bathtub?
A basic reusable baby bathtub may be suitable if it is clean, intact and free from cracks, sharp edges or other damage.
Bath seats and bath rings are different products and can have additional safety considerations, so they should not automatically be treated the same as a simple baby tub.

Some organizations accept nursing pillows and others do not accept used soft baby products.

Can I donate a diaper pail?
