Free Donation Pickups for Collectibles & Memorabilia
DonateYourStuff.ca provides free scheduled donation pickup for qualifying collectibles and memorabilia across the GTA and select surrounding communities. We accept coins, stamps, postcards, figurines, collectible cards, comics, memorabilia, vintage décor, small antiques, souvenirs, pins, medals, badges and other collectible items.
Collectibles should be clean and in good condition, with sets, matching pieces and related items kept together whenever possible. Paper collectibles should be kept dry, while figurines, statues and other breakable pieces should be protected from damage.
Submit a pickup request with your location, an approximate description of the collectibles and memorabilia you have and an estimate of the number of pieces, boxes, albums, binders or containers. We will review your request and contact you by email about pickup availability.
Collectibles & Memorabilia Donations We Accept
Collectible donations can range from small coin and stamp collections to comics, trading cards, figurines, vintage décor and boxes of memorabilia collected over many years. Some collections are easy to pack together, while paper items, small pieces and fragile collectibles need a little more care to keep them organized and protected.

Why Condition Matters
Our goal is to collect collectibles and memorabilia that can be sorted and used again, not badly damaged items that have to be discarded after pickup.
Comics, postcards, collectible cards and other paper items should be dry and free from heavy water damage, mould or mildew. Figurines, statues and decorative collectibles should not have major breaks, sharp damaged edges or badly missing pieces.
Collections do not have to be perfectly organized, but sets, albums, cases, certificates, original boxes and related pieces should stay together whenever possible.

If coins are loose, place them inside a secure container or bag so they cannot spill during handling.

Paper collectibles should be kept clean and dry.
Leave stamps and postcards in albums, sleeves or protective holders when they are already organized that way.
Do not remove older pieces from albums or collections just to prepare them for pickup.

Figurines and statues should be in good condition without major breaks or dangerous sharp edges.
Wrap fragile pieces individually and use padding between items so they do not strike each other inside the box.
Keep matching sets together whenever possible.

Comics should be dry and free from mould, mildew and severe water damage.

We accept qualifying vintage décor and small antiques that are manageable for our pickup service.

Small antiques should be structurally sound and safe to handle.
Protect glass, ceramic and other fragile pieces with wrapping or padding.
Large furniture and oversized antiques are not part of this donation category.

Secure exposed pin backs before packing.
Keep medals, badges, pins and related pieces together when they belong to a set or collection.
Small items should be placed inside a closed container, pouch or organizer so they cannot become lost.
Collectibles & Memorabilia Donations We Cannot Accept
We cannot accept collectibles and memorabilia that are unsafe, contaminated or badly damaged beyond practical handling.
Please do not donate:
- Items affected by mould or mildew
- Paper collectibles with severe water damage
- Items exposed to pests
- Items with strong smoke or other heavy odours
- Figurines or statues with dangerous sharp broken edges
- Badly shattered glass or ceramic collectibles
- Items covered in heavy dirt or residue
- Large furniture or oversized antiques
- Containers mixed with garbage
- Wet or collapsing boxes
- Items that cannot be handled safely
- Items that have not been prepared for pickup
Collections with some normal age or wear may still be suitable. The main concern is whether the items can be safely handled, sorted and kept in use.
Items that do not meet our donation standards may be declined at pickup.
How Many Collectibles & Memorabilia Are Needed for a Donation Pickup?
Collectibles vary greatly in size, so there is no single piece count that determines whether a pickup is available.
A collection may consist of several albums of stamps, boxes of comics, binders of cards, trays of coins, multiple figurines or a mixture of different collectibles and memorabilia.
You do not need to count every individual coin, stamp, card or small collectible. Give us your best estimate of the number of boxes, albums, binders, trays, totes or larger pieces and describe the general types of collectibles included.
The overall donation volume, condition, location and current pickup routes will determine whether pickup is available.
How to Prepare Collectibles & Memorabilia for a Donation Pickup
Please prepare collectibles and memorabilia before your scheduled pickup.
Keep collections together: Leave related sets, albums, binders and collections together whenever possible.
Protect paper items: Keep comics, cards, postcards, stamps and paper memorabilia dry and protected from bending.
Leave organized collections organized: Coins, stamps, cards and other collectibles can remain in their albums, folders, sleeves, cases or boxes.
Protect fragile pieces: Wrap figurines, statues, glass items and other breakable collectibles individually.
Secure small items: Place coins, pins, medals, badges and other small pieces inside closed containers, organizers or sealed bags.
Keep original pieces together: Include matching cases, boxes, stands, certificates or related pieces when they belong with a collectible.
Use sturdy boxes: Choose containers that will support the weight of coins, books, comics and other heavier collections.
Avoid overpacking: Coins, comics and other dense collectibles can make boxes surprisingly heavy. Use smaller boxes when needed.
Label containers: Simple labels such as Coins, Stamps, Comics, Cards, Figurines, Memorabilia or Vintage Collectibles make larger donations easier to identify.
Remove personal items: Check boxes, albums and containers for photographs, paperwork, money or other personal belongings that are not part of the donation.
Keep boxes manageable: Pack donations so each container can be safely lifted and moved.

How a Collectibles & Memorabilia Donation Pickup Works
Step 1: Submit your pickup request: Provide your location, a general description of the collectibles and memorabilia and an estimate of the number of boxes, albums, binders, containers or larger pieces.
Step 2: We review your request: We review the item types, condition, quantity, location, available vehicle space and scheduled routes. We may request photographs or more information by email.
Step 3: Receive email confirmation: Your pickup is only scheduled after you receive confirmation by email. Dates and times entered on the form are requests and are not automatically secured.
Step 4: Prepare the approved collectibles: Keep collections together, protect paper items, wrap fragile pieces and secure small collectibles inside appropriate containers.
Step 5: We collect the approved donation: Items that are unsafe, contaminated, improperly packed or significantly different from what was described may be declined.

Do I need to know what my collection is worth?
No. You do not need to know the value of your collection before submitting a pickup request.
Give us a general description of what you have and include any information you already know about the collection.
Do I need to have collectibles appraised before donating them?
No appraisal is required before submitting a pickup request.
If you already have information about the age, maker, series, collection or history of an item, you can include it with your description, but an appraisal is not required.
I inherited a collection and do not know much about it. Can I still submit a pickup request?
Yes. Many collections are built over a long period of time, and you may not know exactly what every item is.
Tell us what you can see, such as albums of stamps, boxes of comics, binders of cards, coins, figurines, memorabilia or other collectibles, and provide photographs if requested.
What if my collection contains many different types of collectibles?
That is fine. You do not need to separate everything into individual pickup requests.
Give us a general breakdown of what the collection contains and approximately how many boxes, albums, binders, trays or other containers are included.
Do I need to count every coin, stamp, comic or trading card?
No. Exact piece counts are not necessary for large collections.
Estimate the number of albums, binders, boxes, trays or containers instead and give us a general idea of what each contains.
What if a collectible is missing its original box or packaging?
Original packaging is helpful when you still have it, but not every collectible needs its original box.
Keep any packaging, certificates, stands, cases or matching pieces that you do have with the item they belong to.
Can collectibles be included with my other donations?
Yes. Collectibles and memorabilia can be included with other accepted donation categories in the same pickup request.
List the collection separately in your request so we know what is included with the rest of the donation.
Can I drop off collectibles instead of requesting a pickup?
DonateYourStuff.ca is a scheduled donation pickup service and does not operate a public drop-off location.
