Donations We Pickup
We pick up clean, reusable donations from homes in Angus, CFB Borden, Utopia and Colwell, including clothing, household goods, books, toys, electronics, small furniture and other everyday items that are still in good condition.
Donations must be clean, complete, working where applicable and ready to be used again. Items with heavy wear, stains, damage, missing parts or strong odours may be declined.
Your pickup does not have to contain only one type of donation. Bags of clothing, boxes of books, toys, kitchen items and individual household items can all be included in the same qualifying request.
Why Condition Matters
We can only collect items that are still suitable for reuse. That is why donations from Angus homes must be in good, clean and usable condition.

Items We Can’t Accept
To keep pickups fast, safe, and focused on reusable goods, we don’t accept:
- Large or heavy furniture (sofas, sectionals, mattresses, wall units)
- Appliances (stoves, fridges, washers, dryers)
- Damaged, broken, or heavily worn items
- Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, batteries, propane tanks)
- Construction materials or scrap metal
- Items affected by mold, pests, or strong odors
- Car seats, helmets, or recalled children’s items
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or any restricted or prohibited weapons

How Angus Donation Pickup Works
1. Tell Us What You Have
Complete the online request form with your Angus address, donation details and preferred pickup date.
Photos can be added when they help us confirm the item type, condition or size.
2. We Review Your Request
Our team checks the items, donation volume, location and current route availability.
Submitting the form does not automatically secure your preferred date. We will contact you to confirm whether we can accept the pickup and provide an available pickup window.
3. Prepare the Donations
Place smaller items in securely closed bags or boxes. Keep heavier items manageable and make sure everything is ready before the driver arrives.
4. We Pick Everything Up
Your approved donations should be placed in the agreed ground-level pickup area. You may not need to be home when the items are clearly visible and accessible.

Is donation pickup free in Angus?
Yes. There is no charge for an approved donation pickup within our Angus service area.
Do you pick up from Angus condos and apartment buildings?
Yes. We can pick up from condos and apartment buildings, but donations must be brought to an accessible main-floor or agreed ground-level pickup location before we arrive. We do not enter individual units or remove donations from upper floors.
Do I need to be home for the pickup?
Not always. Approved donations may be left in a visible, protected and accessible ground-level location when this has been arranged in advance.
Can I choose my pickup date?
You can provide your preferred day and time when submitting your request. This is a request only and does not guarantee that time. We will contact you with our available pickup options.
Do you take furniture in Angus?
We accept certain smaller furniture items that are clean, reusable and manageable for our pickup vehicles. We do not accept many oversized or extremely heavy furniture pieces.

Can I donate several different types of items together?
